My Scentsy Story
Hey there, Gary Jensen, and proud dad of three incredible adult kids, here. I am a lover of all things that smell amazing, and a big believer in creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and celebrated. I started working at Scentsy over five years ago and instantly fell in love not just with the scents (though let’s be real, I do have a scent for every mood), but with the people. the community, the connection, the support is something i will always carry with me.
Eventually, I stepped away from Scentsy to follow another dream: running a bed and breakfast. And while that chapter taught me a lot (like the importance of good coffee... and good wax melts), the friendships I made at Scentsy have lasted a lifetime.
These days, I’m living a whole new chapter, I left Idaho to chase my dream job, and I’ve added Scentsy back into my life as a way to supplement my income and, more importantly, to share something I genuinely love.
Enter James, my partner, my biggest cheerleader, and a park ranger who swore he would never be into smell goods. Fast forward to now: his home smells better than a luxury spa and he’s got a growing collection of warmers. Conversion complete. As a gay man who has been through a lot, I know how powerful it is to find comfort and joy in small things, a scent that reminds you of home, a warm welcome, a space where you can just be you. That’s what I want to share.
Scentsy isn’t just wax and warmers, it’s community, it’s connection, and it’s an excuse to sprinkle a little happiness into the everyday. I am here to lift others up, share some laughs, and hopefully make your space feel more like you.
